Your inspiration

"This work is inspired by the Lego brick assembly concept, applying the feature of ""free combination"" to the power bank design. Through the modular structure, users can flexibly increase or decrease the battery capacity according to different travel needs. Like building with Lego bricks, they can assemble the required functional modules. This not only improves charging efficiency and portability, but also realizes the convenience of charging multiple devices at the same time. This design responds to the multiple needs of modern people for flexibility, lightness


How it works

"This product is an intelligent power bank with a modular structure. Its operation principle is based on the assembly and collaborative operation of multi-functional modules. Its core is composed of a main power module, which has a display, USB-A, USB-C interface, wireless charging panel, and hidden plug. It can be used independently or combined with other battery modules to expand capacity. Each battery module is connected through magnetic attraction and physical dovetail structure to realize the synchronous transmission of electricity and data, similar to the way Lego bricks are assembled. When users need additional power according to the travel time or number of devices, they can freely add or remove modules to reach a capacity of more than 20000mAh. The product has an intelligent light strip built-in, which displays the remaining battery power and serves as night lighting. The module itself weighs less than 120g


Design process

"The design process of this product revolves around three core aspects: ""modularity"", ""portability"", and ""multi-device compatibility"". Initially, through questionnaires and interviews, it was found that users generally face problems such as power anxiety during travel, inconvenient charging of too many devices, fixed capacity of traditional power banks During the inspiration exploration stage, drawing on the principle of Lego brick assembly, it proposed a modular connection method combining mortise and tenon structure and magnetic attraction, so that the modules can achieve stable power transmission and structural fixation. In the middle stage, multiple sketches and 3D modeling were carried out to gradually improve the module size, assembly method, display structure, and lighting interaction design. According to the use context, such as short-distance commuting and long-distance travel, it designed a main module that can be used independently and an expandable auxiliary battery module to ensure flexible capacity adjustment. The main module is equipped with a display screen, supports USB-A, USB-C, and wireless charging functions, and a hidden plug is designed to enhance portability.


How it is different

"Compared with the traditional charging treasure on the market, the biggest difference is its ""modular design."" Traditional chargers generally have fixed capacity and a single function, which is difficult to respond flexibly according to different use scenarios, and users need to choose different capacity when traveling for short or long distances, resulting in carrying burdens or insufficient power. The product can stack modules according to actual demand, flexibly adjust the power capacity, avoid excess weight while ensuring adequate power supply. In addition, inspired by Lego bricks, the use of mortise and tenon + magnetic structural splicing, to achieve multi-modular combination, enhance the use of degrees of freedom and fun. It functionally supports simultaneous charging of multiple devices (phones, headphones, watches, etc.)


Future plans

"In the future, the product will further optimize the connection structure between modules and the magnetic attraction strength, improve the stability of use and the flexibility of module expansion. At the same time, it is planned to introduce fast charging technology (such as PD / QC protocol) to shorten charging time and improve efficiency. In terms of materials, more environmentally friendly and recyclable materials will be selected to extend the product life cycle and respond to sustainable design concepts.
